Cold Painted Vienna Bronze Orientalist Man Praying on Persian Rug, by Bergmann
About the Item
This very detailed Vienna bronze was made by the premier foundry of this genre, Franz Bergmann, and does bear his seal on the underside of the rug. The man praying is delicately painted and finely cast. His little shoes on the side of the rug are quite charming. One of the better examples of the highly collectible Vienna bronzes.
