About the Item
This Vienna bronze is of the highest quality. The detailing is exceptional to include the man's face, the rug and the accessories. Realistically painted with great care, and cast as finely as can be. The subject sits on the colorful rug with pen in hand, an ink pot on the rug beside him and his ledger in its holder there as well. A warm and inviting little setting.
Signed on the underside with the Bergmann seal and also marked "geschützt" which translates basically to our copyright.
One of the best of this nice collection we just acquired.
