"Confidence". calamine. France, around 1900, following Grisard, Désiré (1872-¿). With manufacturing stamp, titled and engraved name. Calamine figure patinated in various shades that shows a young woman dressed in a tunic raising one of her hands to her lips. On the base on which it stands, there is a cartouche with the title of the figure (Confidence) and, next to it, engraved the name of the artist who inspired this work. Désiré or Desire Grisard was a French artist born in 1872, well known for his works in the Modernist or Art Nouveau style, and he has a series of really striking figures. · Size: 11 x 11 x 39 cm International Buyers – Please Note: for those articles that need Export Permits (those older than 100 years), the obtaining of the Permit will be processed without additional expenses (if you choose the seller sends it to you), but the period for the obtention of it may vary from 10 to 35 days.
