About the Item

The Romã Sculpture, from Lucas Recchia’s Fruits collection, celebrates organic form and vibrant color through the expressive use of bronze and patina. Inspired by the sinuosity and subtle imperfection of nature, each piece captures a sense of playfulness while retaining a strong sculptural presence. Merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibility, the collection reflects Recchia’s poetic engagement with material and form. Lucas Recchia’s practice is grounded in a deep exploration of materiality and process. By reinterpreting glass, bronze, and rare Brazilian stones, he bridges ancestral techniques with a modern vision, creating sculptural works that embody transformation and the enduring dialogue between nature and design.

Giacomo Onestini ceramic sculpture Italy 1970
By Giacomo Onestini
Located in Roosendaal, Noord Brabant
Beautiful ceramic sculpture designed by Giacomo Onestini made in his own atelier in Italy in 1970. It has a combination of matte and shiny glazed surfaces. The back and sides of the sculpture have a textured surface with shades of gray, green, and sometimes turquoise. On the front, there's a carved-out section that's smooth and glazed with red and gold hues. It's a very appealing and intriguing piece. You can find the artist's signature, "Onestini," on the side of the sculpture. This piece was created in the artist's personal studio. Very nice large sized, heavy piece and in excellent condition. After graduating as a master ceramist, Onestini moved to San Marino where he found employment at the "Marmaca" ceramics factory. Around the end of the 1950s, he moved to Salerno and began working with the "Ernestine...
