A beautiful carved and polished small rock crystal figure of Venus, probably Italy, carved after the antique, early to mid-20th century.
The naked torso, almost certainly depicting Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, features a voluptuous form, with ample breasts and curvaceous hips. The pose is sensuous and classical. Venus raises one arm above her head, bent slightly at the hip, her torso slightly twisted.
Mounted on a wooden plinth with brass mounts.
