Crocemartello Cross Hammer by Secondome Edizioni and Studio F

About the Item

Crocemartello Cross Hammer by Secondome Edizioni and Studio F Designer: Giulio Iacchetti. Dimensions: D 3,5 x W 16 x H 50 cm. Materials: Solid woodworm maple wood and bronze. Collection / Production: Secondome + Studio F. Available in all kinds of solid wood and in natural or black finishes. Please contact us. Wooden handle and bronze head meet to create an object with a dual nature. What is originally a traditional carpenter’s hammer takes on the appearance of a cross, combining the practicality of an everyday object with the symbolic function of the cross. With the same tool it is possible to drive a nail into a wall, and then hang the cross/hammer onto a wall, ready in waiting for its next use. THE GALLERY Secondome is a Design Gallery focused on contemporary designers and innovative projects worldwide. Founded by Claudia Pignatale in 2006, Secondome produces its own collection of Furniture and objects working to launch experimental designers, artisans and master craftsmen. Its mission lies in highlighting both the high quality manufacture of the Made in Italy brand and the originality of products, emphasizing the tradition of Italian craftsmanship whilst breaking the mold of lifeless objets d’art. The artisanal nature of Secondome’s production makes each piece individual and highly personalized.
