Cubist School Jazz Band Sculpture signed and dated Austin Productions 1964

About the Item

Stylized cast sculpture of a Jazz Band, marked Austin Productions 1964. Executed in the Brutalist style, with obvious Cubism School influence. Constructed of a substance called Hydrastone, much like cast plaster, but harder and less porous. This example is in very good, clean, original condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age.
