This is a Dan Corbin figurative sculpture signed, and dated 2002. The sculpture is composed of bauxite , steel, oxide, epoxy, and found objects. Dan takes figurative sculpture to a level of modernity and conceptualism that is stimulating and fresh .His works are embedded at the surface with found objects such as keys, glass bottles, dolls, and other items … Dan has created these "Time Capsules " that challenge us to look deep into the human experience.. I recently spoke to Dan. He is still creating sculptures that in their composition and in their conception, remind us of who we are. His sculptures are in many important museums, and collections, including that of Sir Elton John. please see the photos.
