About the Item
A lovely Danish Modern porcelain statue by Danish sculptor Agnethe Jørgensen for B&G (Bing and Grondahl). Designed by Jørgensen in Denmark by B&G during her tenture at the company (she was employed at Bing & Grondahl from 1967 to 1976) it has clear and blue glaze that accentuates the fantastic form. Bing and Grondahl was founded in 1853 and merged in 1987 with the Royal Porcelain Factory under the name Royal Copenhagen.
In very good condition with light shelf wear on underside. No chips, cracks or discolorations. Marked on underside "B&G Denmark".
