Bronze “Girl with deer”
oval marble base, height 26 cm
German sculptor, studied at the art academies in Berlin and Düsseldorf, participated in the major art exhibitions in Berlin and Munich, spent time in Rome, lecturer in Königsberg, professor at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Kassel. His extensive work includes numerous public commissions, particularly for architectural sculpture in Berlin, and one of his main areas of work was the design of portrait heads.
