Figurative Knob in Iron 1600 Italian Handle with Bust of Boy
About the Item
Iron Bust From 1600 depicting a boy with curly hair, dressed in a tunic that leaves one shoulder uncovered. Made of cast iron, the pommel has a dark patina and is in good condition, consistent with a date of four centuries. This antique bronze knob in the shape of a human head was used as a handle in period furniture and was originally used as a dresser knob, attached to the front of the drawer via a thread bar placed inside it
