a finely carved wooden monkey butler / servant / footman figure on stand, glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, once held a tray in its outstretched arms / hands (missing / lost to time), top button missing from waistcoat, also missing a pocket watch (clock) that attached to the hole (circled in image) in his waistcoat, England, early 19th century
