    By Freaklab
    Located in Modica, RG
The Palombari by Freaklab fully represent the meaning of his art and continuous research and the technique of majolica and terracotta. The trio of Palombari are respectively 35cm, 45cm and 50cm tall. Divers live in the submerged world, from what? from anything that does not give space to their desires, projects and rights. Birds are a very strong symbol of freedom and being 'under water' or in any other place where they don't feel comfortable, they want to find their dimension and their habitat. The artist chose the name Freaklab because he has always created works tending towards the monstrous, the different, enriched by characterizing, exaggerated and disturbing elements, which make it inappropriately pleasant for contemplative and attentive observation. From my island...
