French Bronze, "The Looking Glass", Nude Looking into Cheval Mirror, ca. 1900
About the Item
This bronze has all the ingredients needed to make it very special. The subject matter a sexy nude beauty looking into a Cheval mirror, the patina, detailed casting, and remarkable condition are all there. The nude young lady is a beauty, and her pose is most alluring. The patina is done in that rich reddish brown that Pinedo was known for, as well as gilt highlights to the mirror. It is signed by Pinedo, and bears a foundry seal.
