A very well cast and interesting French patinated bronze match strike. It is in the form of a water seller, in the uniform of an old Republican soldier, sitting on a bench. He is seen wearing a tricorn hat with a cockade to the brim, mutton chop whiskers, with a water cistern on his back and the cistern lid at his feet. In his hand and on straps are the water cups and in his belt a pair of pistols...

Antique patinated bronze figural thermometer of a medieval youth and his hound. Probably English this is an unusual desk thermometer with a hunting theme. Set on an oval base the standing figure of a hunter looks into the middle distance for his quarry. He is dressed in medieval clothes and wears a cap on his head with a feather in it and holds a hunting horn in his right hand. By his feet stands his lurcher hunting hound sniffing for scent. Behind them is a fine baluster balistrade and to their right is an obelisk topped with an ornamental ball. Inset into the obelisk is a silvered bronze thermometer...

French Empire pendule au bon sauvage mantel clock in ormolu and bronze. The clock is in extremely good condition. Entirely original gilding. A particularly fine convex white enamel dial with Roman numerals. The figure with original white enamel eyes, sits on the case of the clock, foot resting on a barrel, and pipe in hand.
