This is a stunning French patinated and bronzed spelter sculpture titled "Muse Champêtre" attributed to Louis Moreau. The sculpture portrays Venus, a muse with the lyre, and it has a round base with a label bearing the artist's name and title, and is signed "Louis Moreau".
The sculpture is in good condition with minor signs of aging.
