Jorge Blanco 'b1945' American, "Eclipse" Sculpture 2011. Black abstract sculpture, titled "Eclipse". Signed and dated in the front lower right Jorge Blanco 2011. Aluminum and black paint. This unique sculpture can come apart and will need to be put back together. The piece is in great condition. Blanco (American born in Venezuela) is an international artist who has created a distinctive sculptural language throughout his career. His art values a very positive lifestyle, creating soaring testaments to the optimism of everyday life. Jorge Blanco’s trademark subject is an abstracted figure that is at once recognizable and joyful. In addition to public art, Blanco continues his life trajectory by making collectible sculptures. Jorge has developed distinguished careers as a sculptor, graphic designer, humorist, and illustrator. Jorge lives and works in Sarasota, Florida. His work is collected worldwide.
