In short time he leaded together with Carl Werner the art department (Kunstabteiling) of the Manufacturer and contributed to the succes of the Manufacturer. In 1814 Carl Magnus Hutschenreuther starts the Porzellanfabrik C.M. Hutschenreuther (1814 - 1969) as the first industrial porcelain manufacturer in Bayern. After his death his son Lorenz Hutschenreuther takes over leadership of the company but leaves the company in 1857 to start in Selb his own porcelain manufacturer the Porzellanfabrik Lorenz Hutschenreuther. In 1904 the C.M. Hutschenreuther changes into an "AG" (Limited company) and starts to take over several porcelain manufacturers in the neighborhood (like Porzellanfabrik Arzberg in 1918).
