La Femme De Marrakech by Celine Lepage
About the Item
La Femme de Marrakech by Celine Lepage(1882-1928) France. Exceptionally important ceramic white glazed figure with original seal and signed label.
Authenticated by Felix Marcilhac, Paris. (This group was also made as a re-edition in the 1950s with a brown base.)
A kind design lover contacted us recently to tell us that Lepage was part of the Stele group formed by Arthur Goldschneider.
This is the second time we have been lucky enough to have owned this model. We first had one in the mid 1970s when we bought it from David Gill.
