About the Item
Beautiful and unique cast lucite sculpture "Damocles" by New Jersey based artist Karen Brown. This piece is a modern take on the ancient Roman parable, the Sword of Damocles. A guillotine-like sword is suspended by a single monofilament above a seated figure, all of which are embedded in a clear lucite block. Thirty inches tall and signed on the lower back.
