Large bisque group featuring Cupid and Psyche. Psyche, a young woman of exceptional beauty and grace, brushes her hair assisted by Cupid who holds the mirror. The girl is naked, and her body evokes the Greek aesthetic ideal. Her leaning position, in light contrapposto, emphasizes the curves of her body and shows her sensuality.
