Leda Art Nouveau Bronze Relief Signed by the Artist 1900s
About the Item
Spectacular bronze relief that represents the Greek motif of Leda and the swan, according to which Zeus descended from Olympus in the form of a swan towards Leda, while this queen was walking along the Eurotas river. This bronze has a patina that shows signs of fighting fire, possibly from some unfortunate fire in some old palecete Catalan or southern France and fortunately survived. The quality of the artist is excellent, who left his signature in the lower right, although we have not yet been able to identify him, there is no doubt that he must be a great artist of the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. Without a doubt, a wonderful piece that makes you dream.
