About the Item

Magnificent French 19th century bronze horse, signed A. Paul Brierre, on a beautiful marble base. The piece features an abundance of details; one can tell this horse has not yet been broken, not wearing saddle, and without bit in its mouth. The sculptor lets us see the horse’s ribs, giving the illusion of the animal breathing. The horse is placed in a field, as if he has just stopped at tree stumps and branch. Finally, the piece is mounted on a marble base, giving it a rich look.
