Mid-century pink and green ceramic flamingo tabletop pottery statue by Leftons. The statue features a beautifully detailed pink mother flamingo standing on a grassy field with daughter. It comes in a gloss finish that highlights the rich pinks, greens, and white accents, making it a striking statement piece.
Signed: "Leftons Japan"
Lefton is a mark found on pottery, porcelain, glass, and other wares imported by the Geo. Zoltan Lefton Company. The company started in 1941. George Lefton passed away in 1996, and the family members continued to run the company. Lefton was sold to OMT Enterprises of Gardena, California, in 2005 and is now a division of that company. The name “Lefton” is still used. The company mark has changed through the years, and a mark is usually used for a long period of time.
