An amazing pair of Goats made by Bing & Grøndahl and given the serial numbers 1699 and 1700. These handpainted goats show the great craftsmanship that is the classical trade of the figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. Beautiful attention to detail in both painting style and pose of the figurines, gives this pair a vivid and significant expression. Bing & Grøndahl is one of the most famous and sought after Danish figurine and porcelain makers. Style, colour and attention to detail are key in their work. The company started out independantly in the 1800's but due to it’s massive success it was bought by and incorporated into the world famous Royal Copenhagen family.
