About the Item
This stunning pair of obelisk sculptures were realized by Jaru in the United States, circa 1970. They feature obelisk forms with tapered bodies that come together at the top forming a point; an incised indentation near the volumetric rectangular base; as well as elliptic incisions in each one of the sides. Each of these ceramic obelisks have been plated in pure lustrous platinum. With their clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, these obelisk sculptures would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They are signed on the base "Jaru" and are in excellent vintage condition.
