Fine pair of left and right, hand-carved, gessoed and 22-karat gold gilded, angels singing in adoration while in flight. Both later mounted on custom, Lucite stands. Originally from a grand altar.

Condition:

Additions or alterations made to the original: Mounted at a later date on Lucite bases. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. There is some cracking and both sets of wings have been re-attached, probably due to breakage during initial removal from their setting. Gilding has been refreshed. Both pieces are structurally strong.
