About the Item
A rare pair of bronze seals, one depicting a child with a bird and the other a child with an empty nest. These casts were made after sculptures by Jean-Baptiste Pigalle (1714-1785). The seals are unmarked and therefore do not bear initials. These small bronzes are in good condition with a lovely original brown patina.
Please note - the little bird on the child's shoulder is missing
