Pictured is an exceptional pair of 19th century polychromed Venetian Blackamoors. Each figure is wearing intricately painted colorful costumes and is positioned on painted faux porphry pedestals on ebonized plinths with brass lion's paw feet. Each figure is shown with raised cornucopia jardinière in one hand with a scalloped shell extended in the other.
