Pierre Fava Razor Steel Sculpture
About the Item
“Razor” is a sculpture by Pierre Fava, 2020, in steel covered with black matte resin. The artist uses a laser-cutting technique to shape the form.
From 2015, Pierre Fava revisits punk codes, which he metamorphoses into art objects by overdimensioning them and adding pop colors. He uses the razor-blade motif as a support for his brilliant colors. The blade, set across the base, cuts through the space and imposes its astonishing presence, which can be appreciated from all angles.
Pierre Fava is a French artist born in Toulon in 1979. He first made a name for himself as a painter specializing in black monochrome before turning to sculpture.
Unique piece. A certificate of authenticity is issued by the gallery.
