About the Item
Rare early 20th century sculpture.
This beautifully carved female Amazon has a wonderful patina and the lifelike pose and shape make it even more impressive. The skin of the hunted 'big cat' is draped around her naked body like a dress and she wears and uses the head like a hood(y).
This J. Lichtenberg signed, patinated wooden sculpture dates from around 1920 and it measures 20 inches in height. It is the perfect size to put on a sideboard or pedestal / stand.
