Royal Doulton Flambe Limited Edition Figurine, Eastern Grace, circa 1996

About the Item

Royal Doulton Flambe porcelain figure - Eastern Grace This item has amazing detail entitled 'Eastern Grace' HN 3683 from the popular flambe range. Designed by Pauline Parsons, issued 1995. Produced in 1996 as a limited edition of only 2500. This is a first quality item in excellent condition. The figurine has been finished in flambé glaze and has been modeled in the form of a dark haired woman depicted in a standing position with her arms raised and bent at the elbow. Her right hand rests on her bare shoulder while her left appears to be adjusting her clothing. She is dressed in a long garment resembling a sari which is worn over a sleeveless black choli. The sari has been liberally decorated with colorful flowers executed in shades of blue, green and orange. The base has a full set of factory marks and bears the black Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp reading "handmade and hand decorated" along with "MADE IN ENGLAND" and "Royal Doulton". The backstamp also reads "Royal Doulton FLAMBÉ" with the title of the piece, "EASTERN GRACE", its model number "HN3683" and facsimile signature of the modeler, "P Parsons". It is also printed with the words "LIMITED EDITION OF 2500" along with the etched number "1931" indicating the piece's number of production. .
