About the Item

Large Rococo porcelain figure group depicting a scene of peasants, a young woman playing a guitar in the top of a rock accompanied by a young couple and a little girl who are holding a garland of flowers around her. The whole sculpture is painted with the beautiful and bright colors of the excellent German manufacture. The base is adorned with delicate gilt scrolls and shells painted in pale blue and pink. The sculpture is hallmarked with blue swords and a dot and by the inscription of 1772 cu.
