About the Item

Leonardo Secchi Lady Sitting With Dog 1942 dark patina earthenware casting depicts a woman sitting on a chair over an oriental rug as she lovingly embraces and cuddles her dog. The casting sits atop a black veined marble base with minimal chipping. On the back in the border of the rug we find Leonardo Secchi's signature 42 engraved in cursive. In good shape. The marble base alone measures 2 x 40 x 28.5 cm. The bronze alone measures 34.5 - 34 x 23.2 cm Periodo: 1942 Height: 36.5cm Width: 40cm Depth: 28.2 cm For the export from Italy of an art object that is more than 50 years old, an export license called BELLE ARTI must be applied for from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. the issuance of such a government license requires 2/3 weeks approximately, to be added to the time of order fulfillment.
