Set of Three "See No, Speak No, Hear No Evil" Steampunk Heads / Sculptures
About the Item
A very cool and unique set of three "See No, Speak No, Hear No Evil" steampunk heads / sculptures by southern California artist Steve Artz, circa 1980s. The Industrial looking pieces are quite different and lend a new twist to the iconic "No Evil" franchise. Each piece is equipped with an area for batteries which powered a digital "No Evil" message to appear in the glasses of each sculpture. Only the "See No" bust currently works (see the attached video); the other two still have the battery tray and wires and can probably be repaired pretty easily. The piece is in good vintage condition with some discoloration to the plactic bases as well as some dings and marks on the busts. The busts appear to be a light styrofoam covered with a thin layer of copper. The wear only gives the piece that much more more character; it has a great look and vibe to it! Each bust measures 9"W x 11.5"D x 12"H and would make a great conversation piece and addition to any 20th century art collection! #2970.
