A 1992 limited edition abstract sculpture by Chinese-American contemporary artists ShanZuo (born 1952) and DaHuang Zhou (born 1957) who go by the moniker Zhou Brothers. Signed and numbered 3/7 along the bottom edge, an abstract animal and figure stand together upon an oval base. The sculpture features a rich patina and a rugged texture.
ShanZuo and DaHuang Zhou, known as the Zhou brothers, studied art in China. They contributed to the contemporary art movement in China before moving to the United States in the 1980s. The Zhou brothers works are influenced by Chinese cave paintings and the Western world. Their combined efforts have gained the Zhou brothers numerous awards and praise.
