This is a plaster statue from the workshop of Charles-Alexandre Filleul (1856–1907), depicting Christ with a raised arm.
The piece is signed and dedicated by Filleul. It features a beautiful patina and conveys a strong, well-executed presence.
It is most likely a preparatory work for a larger sculpture, as Charles Filleul was known for creating garden statues.
The statue remains in its original, untouched condition. Please note a broken thumb and index finger, some losses in places, and chips on the base.
