Si tratta di un lavoro di altissima scuola intagliatoria, opera di un maestro capace di infondere nella materia un senso profondo di armonia e realismo. Il corpo scolpito presenta una struttura anatomica equilibrata, resa con maestria attraverso volumi pieni e modulati, che trasmettono un forte pathos spirituale. Armonia del corpo e raffinatezza del perizoma torso scultura sacra Particolarmente rilevante è la raffinata resa del perizoma, drappeggiato con grazia e scolpito con cura nei minimi dettagli.
