Victor Demanet Bronze Sculpture Working technique in (lost wax bronze) Signed and sealed at the top Paris b-L ON ITS BASE Origin France Circa 1930 Excellent condition The color of its patina is Brown Impressionist Style Name of the Work (les carriers a la mancevre) Victor Joseph Ghislain Demanet, born in Givet on February 3, 1895 and died in Ixelles on February 7, 1964, is a Belgian sculptor and medalist. Monument to Albert I, Namur. A student of Désiré Hurbin, member of the Salon of French Artists, Victor Demanet obtained an honorable mention there in 1925 and exhibited there in 1929 the plaster statue of His Majesty King Leopold II, erected at Namur 1, in Arlon, statue of Albert I 2 . He won a bronze medal in Hall 3 of 1935.
