Victor Halvani Female Bronze Sculpture

About the Item

Victor Halavni (1930- ) patinated cast bronze female figure with upraised arms and a wasp like waist line. Halvani was famous for his abstracted and elongated figures cast in bronze consisting either of monumental outdoor pieces or smaller figural sculpture. Possibly a sign of victory, blessing or thanks as there is either a round object in her hands or her hands are clasped in praise. Signed on the back of the figure, Victor Halvani, with an edition number (possibly 14/26?). Circa 1970-80. Good overall condition with no major issues. Wear consistent with age and handling. No major visible scratches or damage. Approximately 15.75" high from base to its peak. 4.5" wide x 4.5" deep at the base.
