A 1:1 cast model of a human skull in green verdigris bronze (artificial patina). It's made from a cast of a real human skull, probably female, and is complete with teeth, lower- and upper jaw. This particular example has a spooky and authentic feel to it. The skull as a symbol serves as a reminder of human mortality - memento mori. It was made in Europe circa 1950-80.
