WMF Fairy With Dove, Lily Visiting Card Tray

About the Item

WMF Art Nouveau visiting card tray decorated with a fairy standing before two large lily leaves, holding a dove in her hands. Impressed maker's marks including the WMF ostrich mark, 'B', 'OX', and '246' to the underside. Illustrated on page 167, catalogue number 246, 'Art Nouveau Domestic Design from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik' published by the 'Antique Collectors Club'.
