About the Item
A magnificent antique German sterling Silver Rooster / Cock Figure. This Cockerel stands proudly on a solid silver base with a little lizard and an insect at its feet. The Rooster has impressive tail feathers and is modelled with an excellent attention to detail. The head is removable.
Made in Germany with English Import marks for 1899, with a sponsors mark for John George Smith.
