Great Colored Tree Sculpture by Michel Froment , France

About the Item

the colored tree by Michel Froment, sculpture from my personal collection the module is completely flexible with 17 colored petals the work is signed hot on 2 petals, the last photo shows the presence of the artist at his home surrounded by all his sculptures a certificate from the artist will be given to you the polypropylene process allows an outdoor exhibition of the work Michel Froment cultivates exuberance and zany, he plays with the kitsch that he introduces into his work to arouse controversy. Far from conceptual art, too intangible or minimalist for him, his work is closely linked to furniture, it is generally classified as "neo-pop". It is as a true alchemist that he experiences the transformation and marriage of metal and resin. In his workshop in Drôme Provençale, he works tirelessly on new experiences. The resin is kneaded, heated, stretched, colored until it comes to life through its animated characters, its furniture with slender lines. The metal is shaped, twisted, welded, entangled to form frames that are sometimes mobile and sometimes stable. Lamps, tables, armchairs, sculptures ... will emerge and will never cease. Michel Froment does not work, creating is his reason for living. He does not seek recognition, but it is the collectors who induct him ... already collected in the United States and throughout Europe, the French couturier and collector Pierre Cardin knew how to meet him from his first exhibition.
