Large Steam Engine Model 'Mamod Steam Wagon' Decorative Shelf Art Vintage Toy
About the Item
A lovely old British Made Vintage Steam Engine Model. The piece has good scale and a beautiful vintage patina, ideal as an art piece or shelf model.
The item dates to circa 1970s when these where popular as working toys, with actual running parts, making them very desirable. A collectors item, this example was certainly used and loved, which gives it its charm as a decorative piece. Great colour and subject matter, a nice addition for anyone with an interest in transportation and kinetic art pieces.
A quality piece of engineering, with die-cast iron wheels, metalwork and steel rivets, brass and copper pipework.
The items is not in working condition and is sold as a decorator model.
