About the Item
Taking the form of a Phoenix this intricate labor of love was found in the artist hamlet of New Hope Pennsylvania where the craft influences of resident artists like George Nakashima and Paul Evans obviously influenced this artist. The artist has recently made another large scale sculpture of Phoenix for a park in tribute to the 911 Flight 3407. The artist said he hoped his Phoenix would rise from the ashes of disaster to carry the souls of the departed to heaven.
