18th century Italian large gold leaf tassel ornaments. These were once used to decorate historic Italian churches for feast days like Christmas. They are hand-carved and hand-painted. French and Italian decorators then started using them to embellish and drip from 18th century chandeliers. The tassels can now be configured into holiday ornaments to adorn any tree for a Rococo-style Christmas. These are sold in a group of 5 but can be bought individually in a different listing. *Includes metal hooks and a metal stand to hang the tassel.
