A unique, signed & numbered Limited Edition "DO NO HARM" resin "Junk Cap" Sculpture by MISS BUGS, produced for the "MISS BUGS – DO NO HARM – THE DISPENSARY / WALK IN CENTRE" exhibition at the Jealous Gallery, London, in 2022. This striking, sculptural piece features an encapsulated scrunched-up 'Monster Munch' packet - a hugely popular and iconic British baked corn snack - mounted on a Jesmonite marble plinth. The Capsule comes in its original custom packaging. After a successful exhibition at Jealous in 2019, Miss Bugs returned to the gallery with a fresh installation titled "Do No Harm – The Dispensary / Walk In Centre". This thought-provoking exhibition merged contemporary art, fast food, and big pharma to examine themes of addiction and consumerism. The installation showcased 800 oversized resin capsules encasing discarded junk food wrappers, along with thousands of pills spilling from a ‘sentient’ vending machine, together with 200 remixed ‘Fast Chalk’ pills, cheekily mashing up the recognisable shapes of Viagra and Oxycontin with familiar fast food slogans such as ‘Finger Lickin’ Good’ and ‘America Runs on Dunkin’. The last two photos are of the exhibition. The work comes with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity label, attached to the base of the packaging and is wet-ink numbered "582" and titled "Monster Munch" on the loose packaging card label.
