About the Item

Suggest for your consideration is this 35mm Motion Picture Cinema Projector designed in 1922 and built in 1937. This highly patinated Super Simplex projector head is complete with turning movement. Includes lens, shutter, movement and lamp house fitment assembly. Vintage 35mm reel, that is non functioning for projection film feed, is included for a nice display look, but the original film reel magazines, motors and lamp house are not included. However, this is a very complete and beautiful projector head, perfect for display in any casual or serious collection or residential/commercial decor application. Theatre used in 1937 and forward to the later mid-20th century. Still usable today with the right accessorization. The Simplex Projector was the standard of the industry back in the day and was built like the proverbial TANK. Shown as arrived in our workshop, but we plan to do some gentle cleaning and cosmetic refreshing, without disturbing any originality, so it will be a proper shiny yet archaic object.
