About the Item
Small Amethyst on Agate Geode Cave with Blue Banded Sparkly Amethyst Druzy
▫️ Description
Small in size and bringing rare elements, this all-natural Amethyst on Agate Geode showcases numerous beautiful characteristics that transform it into a true natural artwork. With blue agate bands, a vibrant violet druzy, and perfectly defined natural patterns, this piece will stand out beautifully in your mineral collection or serve as an elegant addition to your space.
The overall composition of the specimen is what catches the eye, with the agate laces creating a frame for the amethyst. Blue and white laces formed one after the other, eventually giving way to the amethyst. The amethyst formed in a violet-purple tone and has a "gemmy," shiny characteristic only seen in high-grade specimens like this one.
Cave-shaped and weighing almost 14 lbs, this is the perfect small-sized geode. The matrix of the geode is composed of a thin layer of basalt, which is then covered by the agate matrix.
This exceptional Agate Geode with Lavender Amethyst specimen comes straight from the source—my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil—and offers the peace of mind of being ethically sourced. Please check the pictures to see more of it, and feel free to message us if you have any questions or particular requests. 🤍

E2D Crystals
E2D stands for Edivan, Elizandro, and Denny, the 3 Toazza brothers who compose this Family Owned Business and all share a passion for the finest Crystals. As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

View AllRare Amethyst Geode with Deep Purple Amethyst, Blue Lace Agate, and Calcitcite
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A geode that stands as an impressive natural sculpture, with calcite, deep purple, and shiny amethyst, and an aesthetical calcite inclusion interlacing that forms a unique display of natural artistry, a centerpiece.
Rarely seen in any Amethyst specimen, the contrast between the deep purple Amethyst and the Blue Lace Agate creates a stunning visual effect. The Blue Lace Agate forms a natural frame in teal, white, and light blue colors that allows the Amethyst to shine from within, bringing its grape-jelly purple, along with intact points, creating a lustrous, sparkly effect to the specimen.
The Agate Lines are a very special and rare feature of this amethyst specimen. They formed uniformly throughout the entire specimen. The layers begin with a moss agate matrix containing calcite inclusions, which form beautiful natural flowers. These are covered by the first layer of blue lace agate. Atop this, baby-blue and white laces developed, eventually giving way to the galaxy amethyst, allowing it to shine.
To crown the geode, calcite perfectly formed on its side, adding a much-needed contrasting aesthetical point to it.
On a Cathedral with a Nave top, it stands at almost 19 Inches tall and weighing almost 55 lbs.
